Ghosts, Ghouls and Goings On

Grab your cloaks and steady your nerves as your little horrors scare themselves silly this Halloween with mysterious goings on at Framlingham Castle. Meet the gruesome guides as they take you on a journey into the puzzling past, use your wits to solve the riddles, and show off your spooktacular getups in the costume competition.

When?  Saturday 22nd - Friday 28th October 2016.

How much? Free for English Heritage Members, Adult - £8.40, Child (5 - 15 years) - £5, Concession - £7.60, Family - £21.80.


Gothic Falconry

Come to Framlingham Castle to witness graceful hawks, elegant owls and fearsome falcons in flight as the Castle’s expert falconers demonstrate the art of training, exercising and hunting with these magnificent birds. Hear revealing tales of gothic tragedy and superstition while these amazing creatures fly overhead. Please note, the species of the birds are subject to change.

When?  Saturday 29th - Sunday 30th October 2016.

Who? Suitable for all the family.

Half Term Half Price at Easton Farm Park

You can’t really go wrong with a trip to Easton Farm Park, especially when it’s half price entry! The October Half Term promises a little bit of spooky and a lot of fun throughout, with events to entertain all ages. Both educational and fun, the kids will love getting stuck into life on the farm and interacting with the many animals that reside there.

When?  Saturday 22nd - Sunday 30th October 2016. Open from 10.30am-4pm each day.

Where? Easton Farm Park, Easton, Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP13 0EQ 

Who? Suitable for all the family.

How much? £4.50 for adults, £4 for children (aged 2 and over), £4.25 for seniors and £16 for a family of 4.


Fireworks Spooky Spectacular

Set to music produced by Komodo Fireworks, the British Music Fireworks Champions for three years running, this promises to be an extraordinary fireworks display. Also featuring Halloween entertainment such as games, fancy dress and free face painting for every child - as well as a very popular magician! A perfect way to start a Halloween-filled weekend.

When? Friday 28th October 2016. Gates open at 4.00pm, fireworks commence at 7.30pm.

Halloween Hoot

Come and join the owls for their favourite celebration of the year! Those who dare can visit the Haunted Hotel, go bobbing for apples, follow the Tombstone Trail, complete the S.O.S. Safari - and of course, marvel at the beauty of these wonderful birds. Make sure to creak into the Haunted Hotel where the ghostly barman will serve you an eek-ceedingly delicious beverage - spooktacular!
