The Mid Suffolk light railway was established in the Edwardian era in an attempt to give access to remote parts of the country to market towns and cities.

Today a section of the light railway, known as The Middy, has been restored and Brockford Station resurrected to create the atmosphere of a English Edwardian country station.

There is a collection of rolling stock, historic photographs and artefacts, an exhibition hall, refreshment room and shop.  Steam train rides and driving courses are available but please check the website for a full programme of events and prices.
